Great news! I’ve just been accepted into this summer’s highSCORE Festival in Pavia, Italy. The program for composers provides opportunities to study under Chris Theofanidis and Paul Moravec; participants also take part in workshops, do some Italian language study, and have our music performed in some of the concerts. My new Canticle for solo cello will be performed (Chris Erickson premieres it in a few weeks here at BJU!), as well as the first movement of my second string quartet and (possibly) a new work for solo flute.
